Tri Leader
Prerequisites:
Triathlon Ireland member (non race licence minimum).
Over 18 years of age.
Duration: 8 hours (9am-5pm).
Modules Covered:
- Role of the TRI Leader
- World of Triathlon
- Health and Safety
- Assisting a coach in a session
- Introduction to Junior coaching
- Safeguarding
Structure of the Day: The day consists of theory and role play modules and aims to be as interactive as possible.
Cost: €60 pp Fee covers:
- Venue.
- Tutor fee.
- Course materials.
TRI Leader Remit: Course content gives TRI Leaders the knowledge and ability to:
- Set up a session and assist a coach during a session.
- Help run and understand a junior session which was planned by a coach.
- Supervise at TI events and sessions.
